MCP 4725 Module I2C DAC Converter Breakout Development Board MCP4725 Module Breakout Board

DAC Breakout - MCP 4725 Module Development Board

The MCP 4725 is a single-channel 12-bit buffered voltage output DAC with nonvolatile memory (EEPROM). The user can store the configuration register bits (2 bits) and DAC input data (12 bits) in nonvolatile EEPROM (14 bits) memory. By setting the configuration register bits, the DAC can be configured for normal mode or power saving mode. The device can use a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface and is powered from a single supply from a 2.7V to 5.5V voltage range.

Description: You always want to output analog voltage from the microcontroller, the MCP 4725 is the DAC that allows you to perform! The MCP 4725 is an I2C-controlled digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that sends analog signals such as sine waves from digital sources such as microcontroller's I2C interface. Digital to analog converters are ideal for sound generation, musical instruments and many other creative projects!

The release of this version of the MCP 4725 breaks some of the problems with the circuit board, including the IC footprint, the I2C pin arrangement, changing the overall board size to better suit your project, and some minor adjustments. The board disconnects each pin that you need to access and use the MCP 4725, which includes the GND and signal output pins, to connect the oscillator or any other device you need to connect to the board. The basic I2C pin arrangement also includes SCL, SDA, VCC and another GND. In addition, if you wish to have multiple MCP 4725s on the bus, you can disable the pull-up resistors on this motherboard by simply following the "Connection Guide" in the "Documentation" section below for instructions and tips on doing this
