Highlights
With manual control and digital control, the entire board adds a large number of capacitors for power supply filtering, making the power supply smoother. Module introduction
The MAX038 is a precision high-frequency waveform generation device from Maxim that can form a programmable multi-wave digital FM signal generator that can generate accurate high-frequency triangular, rectangular, and pulse waves. The output frequency range is from 0.1Hz to 20MHz, which can be controlled by the internal 2.5V bandgap voltage reference and the external capacitance and resistance matrix; the duty cycle can be controlled by a ±2.3V linear signal within a large range to facilitate the change. Pulse width modulation and sawtooth generation, duty cycle and frequency control are independent. The output waveform can be selected by setting the code on the control pin. The peak value of all output waveforms is 2V: The MAX038 features output impedance and high drive capability (can drive ±20mA current).
