Introduction:

Module use:

1. Used as a general step-up and step-down module with overcurrent protection capability

Instructions:

(1) Adjust the CV constant voltage potentiometer so that the output voltage reaches the value you want.

(2) with the multimeter 10A current measurement output short-circuit current (directly to the two test leads can be connected to the output), while adjusting the CC constant current potentiometer so that the output current to achieve a predetermined over-current protection value. (Such as multimeter shows the current value is 2A, then you use the module when the maximum current can only be 2A, the current to 2A when the red constant voltage constant current indicator light, otherwise the indicator light off)

Note: When used in this state, because the output has 0.05 ohm current sampling resistor, connected to the load will be 0 ~ 0.3V voltage drop, this is a normal phenomenon! This voltage drop is not pulled down by your load, but is reduced to the sampling resistor.

2. Used as a battery charger

Non-constant current function of the module can not be used to charge the battery, due to the power consumption of the battery and the charger is very large, resulting in charging current is too large, resulting in battery damage, so the beginning of the battery to use constant Flow charge, when the charge to a certain extent, when the automatic switching back to constant voltage charging.

Instructions:

(1) to determine the rechargeable battery you need to recharge the battery voltage and charge current, if the lithium battery parameters of 3.7V / 2200mAh, then the float voltage of 4.2V, the maximum charge current of 1C, or 2200mA.

(2) no-load conditions, the multimeter to measure the output voltage, adjust the constant voltage potentiometer so that the output voltage to float voltage; (if the 3.7V lithium battery charge, the output voltage can be adjusted to 4.2V)

(3) with a multimeter 10A current measurement output short-circuit current (directly to the two test leads can be connected to the output), while adjusting the constant current potentiometer so that the output current reaches a predetermined charge current value;

3. Used as a high power LED constant current drive module

(1) determine the operating current and maximum operating voltage you need to drive the LED;

(2) under no-load conditions, multimeter to measure the output voltage, adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to the output voltage to LED maximum operating voltage;

(3) measuring the output short-circuit current with the multimeter 10A current level while adjusting the constant current potentiometer so that the output current reaches the predetermined LED operating current;

(4) connected to the LED, test machine.

Note: This module in more than 3A, 35W use, please strengthen the heat!

Precautions:

1. The module input IN- is disabled from the output OUT-, otherwise the constant current function is disabled.

2. Make sure that the power time of the power supply is greater than the power required for the output load!

3. Module input No input anti-reverse function, please pay attention to the direction of power supply positive and negative.

4. Input voltage to 8V or more, the module can the maximum power output, when the input voltage is 5V, the output power of about 15W. Module current value of the maximum 4A, the premise is limited by the maximum output power, such as the output 17V, the current should not be greater than 2A.
