Product Description
The AD9834 is a 75MHz, low power DDS device capable of generating high performance sine and triangle wave outputs. It also integrates a comparator on-chip, which supports the generation of square waves for clock generation. When the supply voltage is 3 V, its power consumption is only 20 mW, which is very suitable for applications with strict power consumption requirements. The AD9834 provides phase modulation and frequency modulation functions. The frequency register is 28 bits; the clock rate is 75 MHz, enabling a resolution of 0.28 Hz. Likewise, the AD9834 with a clock rate of 1 MHz can achieve a resolution of 0.004Hz. The way to affect the frequency and phase modulation is to load the registers via the serial interface and then toggle the registers via software or the FSELECT/PSEL6CT pins.
