VCA8637 has good high-frequency characteristics, excellent in-band flatness, the layout circuit effectively suppresses the on-board self-excitation phenomenon, the control voltage is 0-1.2V, and the low gain bandwidth can reach 500MHz.
Input power -20dBm, test chart when testing 32dB 20dB 10dB gain: In-band flatness is less than 1.5dB
Remarks: Because AD8367 is a VCA chip that is prone to self-excitation, in actual use, due to the influence of capacitance resistance tolerance and board layout, the AD8367 is prone to self-excitation when it exceeds or approaches the maximum VCA control voltage of 1.2V. It is impossible to see the dominant frequency signal with an oscilloscope. Only a vector network analyzer and a spectrum analyzer can see the maximum gain of 42dB of the AD8367.
